Terms of service.

1. What we provide

ConnectAndQuote.com provides a free, non-binding enquiry service for named kinds of home and garden project in the Republic of Ireland. Each service has its own page and form; the services currently offered are listed on the homepage. A person reads accepted briefs and, only with the permission you give on the form, may look for and introduce your enquiry to a maximum of three potentially suitable independent contractors for that kind of work.

2. What we do not provide

We do not carry out work, give professional advice, determine feasibility, set or estimate a price, confirm availability, inspect a property, approve a design, or guarantee a contractor response, quote, booking or outcome.

We do not operate a contractor network and we do not describe contractors as vetted, approved or accredited by us. Where a page says contractors have told us they are open to a kind of enquiry, that is their stated willingness at the time, not coverage, capacity or a commitment.

3. Your contract is with the contractor

Any survey, quote, deposit, contract, cancellation term, warranty or complaint about the actual work is between you and the contractor. Before you agree to work or pay anything, check the scope, the total price, VAT, exclusions, credentials, insurance, timing and written terms.

4. Your responsibilities

Give us accurate information that is yours to share. Use a service only for a property in the Republic of Ireland that you own, occupy or are authorised to act for, and only for the kind of project and audience that service's page describes — most services are for homes; where a page says it also takes business premises, that is the exception. Do not upload sensitive material and do not misuse the site.

5. Photographs and messages

You keep ownership of anything you submit. You give us only the permission we need to store, review and — with your consent — share it for the enquiry purpose described.

6. Availability and timescales

The site, any individual service, the review process and any contractor introduction may be delayed, unavailable, paused, declined or stopped. We may reject enquiries that are spam, unsafe, incomplete, outside a service's scope or otherwise outside our scope, and we will say so.

We aim to review your enquiry and contact you within 1–2 working days. If we cannot find a contractor, we will tell you within 2–3 weeks after we confirm that your enquiry is in scope. These are service timescales, not guarantees that a contractor will respond or quote.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Irish law. Nothing in them limits the consumer rights you have under Irish and EU law, which apply regardless of what these terms say.
